About Wejel

Hi! My name is Wejel and i came from an archipelago in the southern most part of the Philippines called Zamboanga. I completed a degree in business major in Computer Science and Information System last 2002. Professionally, I am a Quality Assurance Analyst working in Makati City. Growing up, i am always amazed to see beautiful photographs in a magazine or a book, but i never really have the courage to take beautiful pictures myself.

I developed a passion for photography when i got my first cellphone with a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera. I just can't stop taking pictures of people, places, and things. Then i decided to take my passion to the next level and got myself a 5 megapixel digital camera but realized that it isn't just enough to capture the world the way i see it. Now i recently got my very own 10.1 megapixel DSLR from Canon and i really love it so far.

I want to tell a story through the photographs i take. I want to share the beauty of simple things around us so we would learn to appreciate life better.
